Brighton and Hove LGBTQ Disability Project (at Brighton and Hove LGBT Switchboard)

A group for LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer/Questioning) disabled people who live in and around the city of Brighton and Hove. This group provides an opportunity for meet-ups, discussion, social meetings, volunteering and raising awareness both in LGBTQ scenes/services and in 'mainstream' services. Please get in touch if you are interested in what we do and to see how we may be able to help. Events are free or low-cost as much as is possible.

Getting there / Access

You can access the service by telephoning or emailing. You can refer others (with their permission). Activities and event times vary monthly.
We use wheelchair-accessible venues and try to ensure that places are accessible for those with mobility issues and sensory issues.

Information about accessing events is provided with each invitation and event summary. If people have questions they can get in touch.
