Brighton & Hove Young People’s Outreach Service

Who do we support? • We provide case work support to young people from the age of 16 up until the age of 26 who have been made homeless for a variety of reasons (eg: forced to leave their family home because of overcrowding, relationship breakdown, abuse), and been given emergency or temporary accommodation through the Housing Options team or the Leaving Care Team at Brighton & Hove City Council. • We provide case work support to young people from the age of 16 up until the age of 26, who live in Brighton & Hove, who have signed a Tenancy Agreement with either a private landlord, social landlord, or Brighton & Hove County Council.

Getting there / Access

We are located near to the big Sainsbury’s supermarket in Brighton behind London Road in New England Street. We are approximately a 5 minute walk from Brighton train station. Bus numbers 6 & 7 both stop at the Station. Look for signposts to BMECP.

When & Where

We accept self-referrals from young people over the phone. We welcome referrals from all professionals. Of these referrals, we give priority to young people who have been referred by Brighton and Hove City Council Housing Options & Allocations Team, and the Leaving Care Team. To request a referral form please send an email or call us- see email address and phone number given below. We aim to acknowledge referrals within 24 hours if the client is in crisis or within 48 hours for standard support.
