Allsorts Ambassadors
Allsorts Youth Project listens to, supports & connects children & young people under 26 who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or unsure (LGBTU+) of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. We meet young people in multiple locations across Sussex and also provide services to parents, carers, families and professionals on issues that affect LGBTU+ children and young people.
Youth Voice is a core value at Allsorts Youth Project and LGBT+ and unsure young people have a variety of ways to engage their peers and the wider community.
Opportunities include making educational resources on issues that matter to LGBTU+ youth, working in teams to explore ways for youth services to be more inclusive, peer mentoring schemes and even Youth President roles.
The voices of young people are represented at every level of the organisation, from our LGBTU+ youth groups to our board of trustees, the needs and wishes of service users are central to Allsorts' development and priorities.
